Members can arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning to an Induction Event. They can leave generally whenever they need to, but they need to check out with the event staff. The overall schedule is –

Friday 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM Staff Arrival Arrival for anyone who is involved helping run the event.
Friday 7 PM General Membership Arrival Registration opens at 6:30 PM – please do not be early. Please plan for 7:00 to 7:30 PM arrival.
Sunday 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM Departure

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Members should pack for a weekend scout event where they will be sleeping in a cabin unless otherwise noted. The focus of the weekend is service projects, so please bring appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Work Gloves are a good idea. All meals are served in the dining hall, so a mess kit is not required.

At check-in you will need to present Parts A & B of the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record with you, signed by parent or guardian if under 18.

Scout Uniform is worn for ceremonies and the Saturday evening meal. Scout and activity appropriate clothing are worn the rest of the time.

Fellowships

The Lodge Fellowship Weekend is a weekend filled with fun. During the fellowship weekend, Arrowmen will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, games and seminars.

Holiday Powwow

The Holiday Powwow is typically held on a Sunday afternoon in early December at the Camp Tuckahoe Dining Hall.  It is a holiday party to provide fellowship and social time for the members in the holiday season.  It also typically has a brotherhood ceremony, which is the first time that members who joined at the April or May Inductions are eligible for Brotherhood. There are snacks and holiday-themed games.

Typically the event starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM.

The Lodge Trading Post is typically open where you can purchase Lodge swag.

Banquet

The annual banquet is typically held on a Saturday evening in January. It has been held at The Susquehanna Club at DLA Distribution Susquehanna, New Cumberland Installation (formerly New Cumberland Army Depot) for many years.

Typically the doors open at 5:30 PM and dinner is served at 6:00 PM. Check around the rest of the website for more details on the banquet for the current year.

Your family is invited to attend the banquet with you. The Lodge Trading Post is typically open where you can purchase Lodge clothing. After the meal, we will recognize deserving recipients of awards and accomplishments during the past year as well install our newly elected officers.

Conclave

While not a Lodge event, each year there is a Conclave held by the Section. The Section is a group of Lodges in the region around us. Conclave is an annual weekend for fun, fellowship, shows, service, and more! It is typically held at a Scout Camp in the region. Every few years our Lodge is the host of the Conclave and some of our members will serve as Conclave staff.
